Topsprinter Patryk Stosz startet 2024 für das Welser Profi-Radteam

Ein weiterer herausragender Fahrer hat jetzt beim Welser Profi-Radteam für die Rennsaison 2024 unterschrieben. Mit dem Polen Patryk Stosz verpflichtete RSW-Geschäftsführer Daniel Repitz einen sprintstarken Fahrer, um auch bei eher flachen Eintagesrennen oder Etappen optimale Siegchancen zu haben. Der 29jährige Neuzugang konnte in den vergangenen Jahren bereits zahlreiche UCI-Rennen gewinnen und holte auch schon den Gesamtsieg bei der Tour of Bulgaria.

Im Jahr 2023 siegte er bei der Porec Trophy und auf der 3. Etappe der Bulgarien-Rundfahrt. Sensationell war sein Auftritt bei der Tour of Austria 2023, wo Stosz als eigentlicher Sprinter die Gesamtbergwertung der Rundfahrt für sich entscheiden konnte. „Ich freue mich schon auf die ersten Rennen mit meinem neuen Team und werde alles dafür geben, damit wir 2024 große Erfolge auf internationaler Ebene feiern können“, betont Patryk Stosz.

Another outstanding rider has now signed with the Wels professional cycling team for the 2024 racing season. With the Pole Patryk Stosz, RSW managing director Daniel Repitz signed a strong sprinter in order to have the best chance of winning even in rather flat one-day races or stages. The 29-year-old newcomer has already won numerous UCI races in recent years and also took overall victory in the Tour of Bulgaria.

In 2023 he won the Porec Trophy and the 3rd stage of the Tour of Bulgaria. His appearance at the Tour of Austria 2023 was sensational, where Stosz, as an actual sprinter, was able to win the overall mountain classification of the tour. “I’m already looking forward to the first races with my new team and will give everything so that we can celebrate great successes at international level in 2024,” emphasizes Patryk Stosz.
