Felt Felbermayr professional cyclist Miguel Heidemann takes 5th place overall at the Tour of Rhodes

Today the final stage of the Tour of Rhodes (UCI 2.2) from Rhodes town to Kremasti was on the agenda. On the last 150 kilometers in Greece, the teams gave their all once again: on the two difficult climbs of the third section, the peloton was completely split up at high speed and after the second mountain classification, a 20-man team was formed 25 kilometers before the finish. Top group with some Wels athletes. Then Felt-Felbermayr attacked professional cyclist Sebastian Schönberger with three other riders. The quartet broke away with 10 kilometers to go and was already 25 seconds ahead before the breakaways were caught 150 meters from the finish. In the thrilling finish sprint, Sebastian Schönberger and Miguel Heidemann took 6th and 8th place after 3:34:58 hours. The tour was won by the Norwegian Andre Drege (Team Coop-Repsol), who laid the foundation for this with the dominant victory in the individual time trial on Thursday laid. Miguel Heidemann made up one more place today and took 5th place overall, 30 seconds behind the winner.
