The Felt Felbermayr team is still on the road to success on Rhodes. Sprint rocket Patryk Stosz did it again and, after yesterday, took 2nd place today on the 2nd stage of the Tour of Rhodes 2024 (UCI 2.2). On the 158.6 kilometer long section from Rhodes Town to Kalithies, the decision was made on the short final climb with a 6 percent gradient in the last few meters. The Wels team has once again managed to get its top sprinter into an optimal position for the finish sprint. On the tough last meters uphill, Patryk Stosz only had to admit defeat to the Italian Alessandro Romele (Astana Development Team), only half a bike length away from the day's victory after 3:46:12 hours. “Unfortunately, at the start of the sprint I was sandwiched between two riders and couldn’t push through. But of course we are very happy with second place,” said Patryk Stosz.
