The 16th Tour of Rhodes started today with an individual time trial. A total of 3.8 kilometers had to be completed in the fight against the clock, starting and finishing in Ialyssos. The Felt Felbermayr team started the four-day tour with a top 10 result: Miguel Heidemann completed the route in a time of 8 minutes and 26 seconds and thus secured 7th place. Hermann Pernsteiner and Sebastian Schönberger crossed the finish line at the same time after 08:33 minutes and thus also ended up in the front of the field. The Norwegian Andre Drege (Team Coop – Repsol) won the start with a fantastic time of 08:05 minutes, meaning he goes into the tour with the jersey of the overall leader. Tomorrow the first stage from Rhodes to Maritsa over 148 kilometers is on the program. The Felt Felbermayr team is at the start of the tour with Hermann Pernsteiner, Sebastian Schönberger, Michael Kukrle, Patryk Stosz, Pjotr Brozyna, Miguel Heidemann and Emanuel Zangerle.
