Today the Tour of Sharjah continued with an individual time trial over exactly 10.12 kilometers in Old Sharjah Corniche. The Felt Felbermayr Wels team presented a united team and took 6th place thanks to Michael Kukrle. The Czech completed the section in 12:42 minutes and an average of 47.8 km/h. Kukrle was 20 seconds behind winner Gal Glivar from Slovenia (UAE Team Emirates Gen Z). Teammate Miguel Heidemann took 8th place, 24 seconds behind, and the Wels driver for the overall ranking Hermann Pernsteiner finished the time trial in 11th place (31 seconds behind). With this unified team performance, the team moved up to second place in the overall team ranking. The performance of Jakob Purtscheller so far, who is in 3rd place overall in the U23 ranking, is also very pleasing.
