The Felt Felbermayr team is presenting another prominent newcomer and returnee for the 2024 cycling season. Sebastian Schönberger will now be pedaling for the Wels professional cycling team. The local hero from the Innviertelcomes to Wels from the ProConti League. The 29-year-old worked for the Human Powered Health Team in 2023 and was previously an important performer for the B&B Hotels Equipe for three years and also competed in the Tour de France. His greatest successes to date were a 3rd overall place at the Tour de Vandee 2021, he also took 3rd overall place at the Tour of Albania 2019 and came a strong fifth overall at the Czech Cycling Tour 2018.
The Upper Austrian wants to achieve great success with the Felt Felbermayr team this year. “For me, returning to the Felt Felbermayr team means coming home again. This is where my career began and I look forward to growing with the team and making it one of the best. Let’s make history together,” emphasizes Schönberger.The strong all-rounder's focus in 2024 will be on the Tour of Austria as well as the road and gravel world championships.
