The first official race of Team Felt Felbermayr was very successful. At the traditional cyclocross start of the 2024 year in St. Pölten, newcomer Patryk Stosz took second place despite a defect. Despite the injury-related failure of cyclocross top star Daniel Federspiel, the Wels professional cyclists showed that the Felt Felbermayr team is a force to be reckoned with in all race formats in 2024. “Today’s race had everything that defines the sport of cyclocross. I’m really happy to be on the podium for my new team in the first race,” emphasizes Patryk Stosz. Teammate Dominik Hödlmoser also showed off well and secured a strong 6th place.
Rain, mud and mud were the ingredients of today's 3KöniXcrosS in St. Pölten over 60 minutes. The Felt Felbermayr team was at the start in its opening race alongside Patryk Stosz with Dominik Hödlmoser and Julian Pöchacker. Right from the start, the Wels professional cyclists were at the top and at times had a double lead with Stosz and Hödlmoser. The Pole was still comfortably in the lead after three quarters of the race distance - Dominik Hödlmoser had to stop at times - when a defect slowed him down. Nevertheless, he was able to secure second place and thus the first podium for the Felt Felbermayr team in the very first race.
