Lokalmatador Jakob Purtscheller verlängert beim Welser Profi-Radteam

Jakob Purtscheller aus Buchkirchen bei Wels wird auch 2024 für das Profi-Radteam aus der Messestadt an den Start gehen, das nächstes Jahr mit Felt einen neuen Hauptsponsor bekommt. Der 19jährige konnte beim letzten Saisonrennen 2023, der Tour of Istanbul, mit einem 8. Platz seine erste Top10-Platzierung bei einem UCI-Rennen einfahren. Jakob Purtscheller kommt aus dem eigenen Nachwuchs und hat seine Stärken im Sprint und als Einzelzeitfahrer. „Der Sprung von den Junioren zur Elite war heuer für mich eine große Herausforderung. Ich möchte mich 2024 weiterentwickeln und mit dem Team bei nationalen und internationalen Rennen große Erfolge einfahren“, so Jakob Purtscheller, der im Nachwuchsbereich bereits einige Meistertitel einfahren konnte. Sein sportliches Traumziel ist ein Start bei Paris-Roubaix.
