Sebastian Schönberger won the Road Cycling League Austria race in Ranshofen today. The
Innviertel local hero from Team Felt Felbermayr won the uphill sprint after 140 kilometers
against Jaka Primozic (Team Hrinkow Advarics) and his teammate Emanuel Zangerle. After
winning the Austrian Gravel Championships and the UCI Gravel race victory in Belgium, this
was Schönberger's third major success within just two weeks. "To win in my home country at
the 25th Braunau Cycling Days is something very special. I sprinted towards the finish, I really
wanted to win today," said Schönberger at the finish. All results

Schönberger wins in his home country
The Felt Felbermayr team is currently racing from success to success, and the Bundesliga race in the
Innviertel was no exception. At the 25th International Braunau Cycling Days, Emanuel Zangerle and
seven fellow escapees were able to break away from the peloton after around 50 kilometers in the
road race. They had a lead of almost one and a half minutes before the main field did everything they
could to catch up with the breakaway riders. The group was caught just before the finish, and in a
thrilling finale there was a sprint to the finish between eight riders. Sebastian Schönberger started the
sprint and was able to celebrate an important victory after 3:03:25 hours. Emanuel Zangerle secured
third place at the same time, completing the Wels success. "The team worked perfectly together
today, the victory goes to the whole team. We also won the team ranking comfortably today," said
racing director Rupert Hödlmoser.
6th place for Hermann Pernsteiner in Slovenia
The Felt Felbermayr team also started today in the UCI race in Kranj, where Hermann Pernsteiner
secured 6th place over 158.6 kilometers and thus further important UCI points for the Wels team.
