The Felt Felbermayr team is currently competing in the Tour of Szeklerland 2024 (UCI 2.2). Riccardo Zoidl secured third place in the prologue of the three-day tour in Romania. The professional cyclist from Haibach reached the finish line in the individual time trial over 4.5 kilometers with start and finish in Sfantu Gheorghe after 05:54 minutes. Zoidl was 8 seconds behind winner Lev Gonov from the Astana Development Team at the start of the tour. Teammate Michael Kukrle took sixth place, 11 seconds behind the day's winner. All other Wels riders - Emanuel Zangerle, Sebastian Schönberger, Josef Dirnbauer, Tom Wirtgen - are also in the top 20. "An ideal starting position for the next few days," emphasizes racing director Paul Renger, who looks after the team in Romania.
