The Felt Felbermayr Wels team remains on course for success. Today, the team from the trade fair city was in action at the challenging three-day Kreiz Breizh Elite race in France. On the first stage over 197.3 kilometers from Calanhel to Priziac, Michael Kukrle took third place. The Czech in the Wels team managed to break away from the main field 50 kilometers from the finish, but was caught by a group of six chasing riders just before the finish. At the 800 meter mark, one rider managed to pull away decisively and win the race after 4:23:53 hours. In the sprint to the finish, Michale Kukrle took the podium, seven seconds behind the winner. "An important success at the start of the tour and a very good starting position for the next two stages," emphasizes racing director Rupert Hödlmoser.
