These 7 top riders have set themselves the goal of competing against the World Tour teams and challenging them to the full. "We certainly have our chances on the difficult mountain stages of this year's Tour of Austria. In principle, we will look for our chances from the start and try to get riders into breakaway groups in the stages and present ourselves in the best possible way," emphasises racing director Rupert Hödlmoser."It will be a tough fight in the extremely strong field of starters. We are aiming for podium finishes on the stages and for the overall ranking, a top 5 place at the end would be great in this competition. Anything more is a bonus we are happy to take."
The Tour of Austria starts on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 with the prologue in St. Pölten and ends the following Sunday with a thrilling finale at Kühtai in Tyrol. Of course, the Grossglockner will not be missing from the tour in 2024.
