Patryk Stosz sprints at the start of the Tour du Loir et Cher in 5th place

The Felt Felbermayr-Express is in action this week at the five-day Tour du Loir et Cher (UCI 2.2) in France. At the start, the 183 kilometer long stage from Bois to Vineuil was the first intensive section waiting for the Wels team, which was at the start with Emanuel Zangerle, Pjotr Brozyna, Miguel Heidemann, Michael Kukrle, Matthias Reutimann and Patryk Stosz. And the Pole in the service of the trade fair city residents once again showed his sprinter qualities today. After 4:00:23 hours he secured 5th place in the main field's sprint and thus a good starting position for the rest of the tour. The winner was the Belgian Lorenz van de Wynkele (Lotto Development Team), who, together with second-placed Edvin Lovidius (Sweden National Team), was able to save a narrow lead of 3 seconds over his first pursuer. The other Wels drivers reached the finish at the same time as Stosz. “The start of the tour went well for us and we all have a chance for the rest of the tour. What was particularly important today was that we were spared from the numerous crashes shortly before the finish,” said racing director Rupert Hödlmoder.
