10th place for Miguel Heidemann in the overall ranking of the 50th Circuit des Ardennes

The 50th Circuit des Ardennes (UCI 2.2) was completed today with the 4th stage starting and finishing in Sedan. In the final section of 163.7 kilometers, the Felt Felbermayr team again set a significant example and was at the front for a long time with Emanuel Zangerle. However, the escape group was caught up again by the peloton and ultimately a 12-man lead group managed to pull away decisively. Briton Joseph Blackmore (Israel Tech Cycling Academy) secured the finish sprint after 3:55:25 hours. Miguel Heidemann reached the finish line with the first chasing group, 19 seconds behind. This meant that the Welsers were able to achieve the goal they set before today's stage of finishing in the top 10 overall. Heidemann improved from stage to stage and finished the tour in 10th place, a total of 1:36 minutes behind Blackmore, who was not only the stage but also the overall winner of the tour. “This tour really challenged us, we’re happy to take 10th place,” said racing director Rupert Hödlmoser. The team will remain in France and start the five-day Tour du Loir et Cher 2024 next week.
