Felix Ritzinger celebrated a successful end to 2023 in Slovenia. The professional cyclist from Wels secured victory in the UCI Track Classe 2 points race on the track in Novo Mesto in a convincing manner by winning a lap. In the Madison he and his national teammate Max Schmidbauer took second place behind the Italian duo Moro/Galli. The races in Slovenia were the last preparatory competitions before the European Championships in Appeldoorn/Netherlands. Ritzinger will start there in the points race on January 11th and in the Madison on January 14th, 2024. Especially in the Madison - this two-man team race is about scoring points at set times - Felix Ritzinger has a good chance of representing Austria at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
